ROL shall implement the Veterans Administration Housing Programs for unhoused veterans. The State and City Alternative and Transitional Housing Programs are to be implemented.

Mission Statement: To provide a system that clearly envisaged a community role for disenfranchised women with children and unhoused disabled citizens across all demographics.

Value Statement: Refurbishment of Life demonstrates integrity, respect, teaming, transparency, inclusiveness and belongings. With energy, enthusiasm and the courage to lead. We are building relationships based on doing the right things. Creating a culture of warmth and belonging, acting with courage, being present, delivering our very best and performance driven.

This situation not only affects individual families but also has broader implications for community health, economic stability, and social cohesion. Moreover, the lack of affordable housing contributes to homelessness and housing insecurity, which disproportionately impacts vulnerable populations such as low-income families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities.

The consequences of inadequate housing extend beyond mere shelter; they affect access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. Therefore, addressing the affordable housing crisis is not just a matter of providing roofs overheads; it is essential for fostering healthy, thriving communities.

Goals and Objectives of the Affordable Housing Program Project

The primary goal of our affordable housing programs and projects is to develop safe, decent, and affordable housing options for unhoused mothers and children, low- and moderate-income families in our community and unhoused citizens across all demographics. To achieve this goal, we have established several specific objectives.

First, we aim to acquire and refurbish existing properties and construct a minimum of 100 affordable housing units within the next three years.

These units will be designed to meet the diverse needs of families, including single-parent households, multi-generational families, and individuals with disabilities.

Additionally, we seek to create a supportive environment that encourages community engagement and participation. This includes establishing partnerships with local organizations to provide residents with access to essential services such as job training, financial literacy programs, and mental health support. By addressing the holistic needs of residents, we can ensure that they not only have a place to live but also the resources necessary to thrive.

Common characteristics of the niche market are women parolees who are not qualified according to traditional standards, to rent conventional housing due to restrictions and because of their past lifestyles.

We network with other organizations who provide services such as image and self-development, parenting classes, occupational skill development, entrepreneurship development, family management, budget management and development. We do not duplicate community services that are already existing successfully. We are resources oriented.

ROL top challenges to meet are: Being able to fill tenancy fast enough to create or maintain momentum and establishing viable network partners. ROL Board, operating through our executive director, plan to overcome these initial challenges through due diligence in marketing campaigns, developing fiscal partners contracts, developing communications with local legislators, developing goodwill with local community residents through regularly shared information, and constant interaction with tenants and their children.
