ROL- AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROGRAMS


Our target populations include cooperative efforts to provide conducive affordable housing programs that clearly envisaged a community role for disenfranchised women with children under the age of 15 years of age. Which supports them to become responsible for their life, in the role of parents and members of the Community and Society. Our programming is focused on Harris County, Houston, Texas. Through existing services, we shall implement affordable housing programs. The Organization shall implement a program for home ownership for families and domestic abuse and victims of violence with or children which the organization envision is multifaceted, comprehensive and innovative.

Currently, in Houston, TX and among unhoused mothers and children, veterans, violence-domestic abuse against women, HIV/AIDS, IDD, there is an evident need for. We know this need exists from housing, health care and employment.  We know the need exists: Data: Homelessness in Texas grew by more than 12% in 2023, in line with national trends, according to estimates released by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. More than 27,000 Texans did not have a permanent roof over their heads when advocates and volunteers across the country walked Texas streets on a night last January to conduct the Point-in-Time Count annual estimate of people experiencing homelessness. About 43% of those or some 11,700 people lived on the streets.

Our program, David’s House Community Housing Programs, proposes providing the following services: Outreach Specialist: Educates the homeless on available aid. Executes the housing evaluations through the Coordinated Access framework. These services will assist 32 individuals in Houston, TX with the problem dedicatedly aids 32 high-requirement individuals on their path to housing. Stays committed for 90 days post-accommodation to ensure a smooth transition.

Our mission program project proposal aims to address the urgent need for affordable housing in our community by outlining a comprehensive plan that not only provides shelter it also fosters a sense of belonging and stability for residents. By focusing on sustainable development and community engagement, we can create housing solutions that are not only affordable but also enhance the quality of life for all residents.
